ISAIAH 62

1 For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.

 6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, 7 And give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

10 Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones, Lift up a banner for the peoples! 11 Indeed the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the world:  “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Surely your salvation is coming; Behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.’” 12 And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.

• Daybreak is upon us and women do not rest at day break. Once the day has broken, there is no resting until the day’s work is done.
• There is no rest for those who travail for Zion (the Church) until she is ALL that God has ordained her to be in the Day of His power.
• There is no rest until Zion (the Church) shines forth with righteousness and salvation. 
• We can't hold our peace; we can’t stop crying; we can’t be silent; we can’t be ‘off duty’ until the world sees Zion’s glory.
• The Comforter has come to Zion! He is ready to change her night garments of desolation and rejection and give her the day time garments of His glory and splendour!
• The Comforter has come to Zion! He has come to change her name and call her by her real name!
• Like a bridegroom with his bride, the Comforter has come to delight in Zion (the Church). It is her day of joy!
• There is a labour of preparation required – it will involve: 

1. Building up the way – by restoring the preaching of the complete gospel and the way of the Cross and by making disciples for Jesus.
2. Taking out the stones – doing away with the traditions of men and the systems of the world that have crept in unnoticed and deceived many.
3. Lifting up the banner of JESUS only!

Matthew 9:36-38

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but labourers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.”

• We must see the Lord’s harvest in the Church. Lord, let me see Your harvest in the Church.
• Calling harvest labourers! Lord, make me a harvest labourer in this daybreak.
• Lord, cause Your zeal to consume me and keep me praying for Zion without relenting.
• Help me to commit and dedicate my life to travailing until her glory bursts forth.
• Lord, set me on my watch for Zion (the Church). Show me how to pray for the Church in this daybreak.
• Lord, prepare me as a labourer in Your harvest.
• Lord, multiply the number of women in travail in this daybreak.

Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)

Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

• We must have rest ourselves, if we are to invite others to the same. Lord, cause me to enjoy Your rest truly so that I can declare it to others.
• We must be women who are learning from Him ourselves, if we are to help others. Lord, help me to be a true disciple learning from You daily.
• We must be women who bear the yoke of discipleship ourselves. Lord, set me firmly in discipleship.

2 Peter 1:19 (NKJV)

And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts..

• Lord, as the disciples of old testified of the confirmation of the prophetic word, let us too be able to testify the same way.
• Help me to take heed to Your word in the day break.
• Let Your word concerning the daybreak shine in my heart and give me light to run, to go...

Jochebed's Travail at Daybreak

Exodus 1:22-2:1-4 “So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, ‘every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive. And a man of the house of Levi went and took as wife a daughter of Levi. So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank. And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him."

Jochebed’s night-time travail –

• A pregnancy with fear and anxiety.
• A delivery accompanied with no rejoicing, no congratulations and no naming ceremony.
• Nursing a baby in hiding with fear of being found out.
• Agony of making the ark and putting her beautiful child out on the river.

This night-time travail was carried out in an atmosphere of severe and intense slave labour and persecution, so her focus was just survival. Just travailing to keep the baby alive. Just managing to keep her head above the water!

Our night-time travail may have been like Jochebed’s. We were begging God to keep alive what He was birthing in us. We were in survival mode.

Glory to God! The COMFORTER has come! The night is over and the day we have waited for is now upon us! There is hope in the COMFORTER!

Exodus 2: 5-8 "Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river. And her maidens walked along the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it. And when she opened it, she saw the child, and behold the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said ‘this is one of the Hebrews’ children.’ Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you? And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, ‘Go’. “So the maiden went and called the child’s mother."

God uses our efforts in travail during the night to affect our daybreak! He caused the baby to be found by one who would have compassion on him and save him! What comfort and joy this brought to this travailing woman. What music it was in her ears when Miriam came to call her to nurse her son!

The COMFORTER has come! The long night of travail has ended!

Psalms 30:5 – “…Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”

Travail continues at daybreak but with a different focus.

Exodus 2:9-10 "Then Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, ‘Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.’ So the woman took the child and nursed him. And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son.”

Jochebed’s travail at daybreak – Now with comfort and joy! The fear and terror is gone!

• In action mode.
• Preparing her seed for higher purpose than just saving his life.
• Prioritising her labour.
• She had a brief window of opportunity and went to work to make the most of it.
• Silent labour, not openly recognised but of great impact for the cause of God.

Even though the external circumstances remained unchanged, the COMFORTER had come and something had changed in the realm of the Spirit. What He had preserved in the night now needed to be prepared for sending.

• Lord, help us to enter our daybreak travail with the joy of the Lord! “…for the joy of the Lord is our strength” (Nehemiah 8:10).
• Lord, help us to look to the Holy Spirit for renewed strength for travail in our day break. Help us not to rely on whatever ability God gave us to travail in the night as we enter our daybreak.
• Lord, help us to know how to prepare / package those things which You birthed in us in the night for sending in the daybreak. Show us how to prepare our children to be usable in Your service.
• Lord, help us to be discerning of those brief windows of opportunity.
• Grant us wisdom to prioritise our travail at daybreak.
• Lord, help us to remember that our travail at daybreak will affect what happens during the day that is dawning – the coming revival, the Day of Your power.

What is our main travail at daybreak?

Ephesians 2:10 (AMP)

¹⁰ For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].

¹⁰ For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (KJV)

• Trust in what God has done in us - we have been reborn in Christ: we are ready to be used!
• There are good works (travail) prepared beforehand.
• The paths to our individual areas of travail have been set.
• The life we are to live, the good life, He has prearranged and made ready for us.
• All we need to do is WALK in them! As we walk with the Lord Jesus, following Him, trusting and clinging steadfastly to Him and become conformed to His example of life and service, HIS WORK WILL BE DONE.  God is the One who has wrought all our works in us (Isaiah 26:12).
• It is the day of GOD’s power and GOD has ALL His works planned out!
• Lord, help me to believe Your word in this daybreak, no matter what I see on the ground.
• Lord, help me to trust what You have wrought in me.
• Lead me to those good works You have prepared beforehand for me.
• Lord, lead me on the paths You have set for me in the daybreak and where You lead me, help me to follow.
• Lord, let me to walk with You in my daybreak.

Our Travail Has Just Begun With The Day Break. THE COMFORTER HAS COME!

2Kings 4:1-2.  "Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.  And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil." 

·         Bridegroom is gone

·         Huge debt on ground

·         No resource to settle debt

·         Harassment and threats from the creditor

·         Risk of losing her sons

·         A double tragedy looming

·         Wailing, travailing, palpitations, heartache all along

Elisha (God's representative) appeared: The COMFORTER has come!

ü  Romans 5:3-5. Lord thank You for my night experiences. They taught me to be a travailing woman for the daybreak labour.

ü  Thank You for appearing on the scene just in time, before I got overcome by sorrow and die of a broken heart. Many did not survive their "night" travail. Thank You for coming to announce that The COMFORTER has come!

ü  Verse 1. This woman recognised Elisha as the "comforter" that she needed and in her anguish she ran for him. Help me recognise the Comforter, the Holy Ghost for who He is and not look narrowly on Him and lose His presence.

ü  Help me enter this daybreak with the faith of JESUS in full gear, doubting nothing, even when the threat of the creditors are still on and it still seems I have nothing in the house. It is enough that the Comforter has come. He knows what to do.

ü  Help me recognise the Holy Ghost as the executive arm of the Trinity in revival and key into His instructions just like the apostles.

ü  Turn the acts of the Holy Ghost into our acts like You did with the apostles. Acts of The Apostles were simply "Acts of The Holy Ghost" in the Apostles. Let us do no acts except what the Holy Ghost instructs and does through us.

The instructions of the Holy Ghost that culminate into His acts.

2Kings 4:3-4.  "Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.  And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full."

The daybreak comes with its own instructions. Another level, a higher level of travail but this time with joy and comfort. Before, we travailed helplessly, though hopefully but not knowing what to do. Now we travail joyfully ready to labour tirelessly as instructed.

ü  Lord as You reset my mind naturally to a new level of travail after I had my baby, now reset my mind miraculously to a new level of travail in daybreak.

ü  Help me follow Your instructions, little and simple as they may be, so I can see Your acts in this daybreak.

ü  Your instructions:

Ø  Isaiah 40:9 "...Say unto the cities of Judah "Behold your God..."

Ø  Psalm 110:3 "The Lord shall send the rod of Thy strength out of Zion"

Ø  Ecclesiastes 11:1 "Cast your bread upon the waters..."

Ø  2Kings 4:3 "Go borrow thee vessels... borrow not a few..."

ü  As I follow Your instructions, turn all my labours and travail from henceforth into flaming swords and arrows that will set ablaze wherever it lands.

ü  Raise a quiet cry on any specific "Say/Send/Cast/Go" instructions (small or big) that the Holy Spirit has given you. Ask for His help and for strength both in your spirit and in your physical body to carry out all your tasks until your time here is done.

ü  Pray God to involve all your household in the daybreak labours.

CHRIST in me, the hope of a glorious timely travail in daybreak!
