Prayer Points

• Lord, I thank You for every help platform designed specifically to grow and groom me into becoming more and more like JESUS. I am grateful that You considered me; and have deliberately, jealously and consistently poured into my life. May my life bring you much pleasure.

• Lord, help me maximise ALL of this helps; I must not abuse it; I must not make light of it; I must not allow all of Your input into my life slip away. You must gain maximum profit and succeed with me.

• Help my heart latch onto every Word and promise. Grant me grace so that I can hinge my life on Your Sure Word of Prophecy.

What Is the Basis for My Arising?

• The day has broken on you.
• JESUS living in You seeks expression.
• The situation of the nations necessitates it- the whole earth is wrapped in darkness and deep/gross darkness will cover the peoples (if you fail to arise).
• The desire of Jesus to not only remain the only Son but the first born and to restore more sons to glory must be fulfilled. You are the vessel needed to manifest/demonstrate/ illuminate and project JESUS.
• Nations and Kings currently sunk in gross darkness are waiting on my arising and shining so as to come to the Light (Jesus).

What Happens If We Fail to Arise in the Day of HIS Power?

And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

Prayer Points

•  LORD, help me believe Your Word (The day has broken on me and I will be willing in the day of Your power) and uphold it higher than my present predicament.

• Cause my heart to respond promptly with obedience and action to Your Word- "Arise!!"

• Help me Arise NOW, not in the arm of flesh or my might but on the strength and potency of Your Word.

• May I be bold to quieten the enemy who delights in reminding me of my NIGHT season/failures/struggles/challenges. LORD, I receive Your Word- "GO, in this Thy Might."
• As I Arise, let it be only for the purpose of radiating God’s glory not mine own.

• Lord, help me see as You see. May I accurately assess the situation of our times as You do and be burdened with all that burdens Your heart.

• LORD, for this reason was I made- to give You pleasure. JESUS, find in me a willing and worthy container through whom YOUR light shines to dispel darkness.

• Stones will never cry out in my place. I will ARISE. I will SHINE. The Day has broken upon me. Thy Light is COME.

Travailing for the Mark of God

Ezekiel 9:1-11

To travail is to:

• Make a painful move.
• Make a laborious effort.                      
• Work hard or toil.
• Shed tears, sweat or blood; until the mind of God is established on someone or something.
• Grieve until we receive and bring forth something evident and tangible.

   

1.   In this chapter, Ezekiel had the opportunity to see a vision about God's dealings with both the righteous and the unrighteous at the same time:

(a) The shift in the glory of God from its usual position.

(b) The destruction of the city by those God had given the power to do it.

***The only distinguishing factor from the imminent destruction was the way and manner the people prayed. What if God chooses to use the same criteria for us in this dispensation?***

Prayer: Lord, I thank You for Your good hands upon my life. Please help me to be sensitive to my spiritual environment at all times. Open my eyes to Your dealings with me and carry me along with Your workings in my life and all that concerns me.

2.  The only criteria Heaven recognises as a distinguishing factor in Ezekiel Chapter 9 is “travailing prayer attitude”. The people set aside to receive the mark of God were those that decided to yield to God's sorrow over a situation – those that chose to bear God's hurt/pain for someone or for a given situation.

  

Prayer: Lord, please help me to recognise Your pains/hurts over someone or something. Grant me the grace to carry these pains through. Help me not to talk myself out of it. Let Your prayer list be my prayer list at all times.

3.   It takes a desire for the travailing Spirit of God to operate in our lives before we can travail in the place of prayer. Travailing in the place of prayer is to allow our spirit-man (inner man) to cry out the burden of God – the cry that comes out through the perception of His grief. (Paul's spiritual suffering in Colossians 1: 21-27)

Prayer: Lord, baptise me afresh with Your travailing Spirit. Please affect my heart in a way that it will carry the burden of heaven over any given situation, people or nations at all times.

4.   The destruction started from the Sanctuary (the Temple of God). This shows that God does not and cannot condone sin in the lives of those that are close to Him. God commanded His Judgement right where His Glory stood. *Be sure of your stand in God when asking for His glory to come down.*

Prayer: Lord, help me not to miss Your touch and the reason for Your touch in any gathering of the saints. Rid my life of anything against Your will in my life. Help my life to attract the joy of heaven at all times.

5.   In verse 4 (Ezekiel 9:4), God ordered the man He had given the power to set His mark on only those sighing and weeping for the sins of the land. The man was not sent to the church workers, pastors, deacons, deaconesses, ministers, church leaders or religious christians. *Be sure you are not named among the workers of iniquity as stated in Matthew 7:18-23*.

Prayer: Lord, please help me to come to terms with the mandate of Heaven, so that I will not follow denomination and the doctrine of men aimlessly. Help me to pursue the purpose of Heaven and Your will here on earth until the end of time.

6.   It is God's desire to flow, pray and cry out through us in the place of prayers...He wants to make His burden our burden. He is willing to grant us the privilege to travail as Heaven desires, as Jesus did for our redemption (Garden of Gethsemane – Luke 22:41-44) and to bring forth in our travailing prayers (Paul in Galatians 4:19).

Prayer: Lord, let my thoughts be wrapped up in Your thoughts in the place of prayer. Please pray through me until Your burden is lifted concerning anything or anyone.

ONLY EMOTIONS/FEELINGS THAT ARE SOUND AND ALERT CAN CARRY GOD'S BURDEN ARIGHT. HEARTS THAT ARE STILL DRAWN TO THE WORLD OR SET ON PAST HURTS AND PAINS CANNOT MOVE NEAR GOD'S BURDEN.

Prayer: Lord, make my heart Your Home. Sensitise my heart to Your mind concerning me and my household. Rid me of anything that will draw my heart away from following divine timing.

- Lord, let me not touch Your mark upon my life. Deliver me from all the ways I have been troubling myself unknowingly or indirectly. Cleanse my heart deeply and thoroughly inside-out.

- Lord, help me to always break through all barriers in the place of prayer for my life and for as many You will help me carry to Your presence.

Esther's Journey into Destiny

Esther 2

Esther met and exceeded the criteria to be chosen as a potential Queen - Vs. 2-4.

-The criteria: beautiful, young, virgin.

-Esther’s CV: A Jew, young, virgin, lovely and beautiful - Vs.2:7.

Character Formation

Discipleship

- Esther submitted to and remained under the tutelage of Mordecai from a young girl, when crowned Queen and even through her married years.

- Her discipler was a Jew with a traceable genealogy - Vs. 5.

- Are you a disciple (following JESUS) and submitting to human agents that God has sent as instruments to mould you to become like JESUS?

- Is your discipler root traceable to JESUS?

- Mordecai took Esther as his own daughter - Vs. 7 {their discipleship relationship evolved: father- daughter; teacher-pupil; colleagues}

- Vs 11: Everyday he walked back and forth near the courtyard of the harem to find out how Esther was and what was happening to her.

- Vs 21-22 ... Mordecai was sitting at the King’s gate... Two of the king’s officers conspired to assassinate King Xerxes but Mordecai found out about the plot and told Queen Esther, who in turn reported it to the King, giving credit to Mordecai.

When we submit sincerely to following JESUS! Darkness will always be exposed.

A Life of Obedience Vs. 10, 20

- She never disclosed her identity to others nor questioned why Mordecai wanted her identity undisclosed.

- Vs. 20 Now Esther had not revealed her family and her people, just as Mordecai had charged her, for Esther obeyed the command of Mordecai as when she was brought up by him.

Bridled Tongue / Life

- Esther learned not to be porous with her mouth even when surrounded by multitudes of other young women.

Contentment, Simplicity and Submission Vs. 12-15

Vs. 13 ...and she was given whatever she desired to take with her from the women’s quarters to the king’s palace.

- Esther requested nothing but what Hegai advised – Vs. 2:15.

Her Inner Beauty (JESUS ) Shone

- She severally found favour.

- Vs. 7 She was lovely and beautiful.

- Vs. 9 Now the young woman pleased him, and she obtained favour; so he readily gave beauty preparations to her besides her allowance....

- Vs. 15 And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all who saw her.

- Vs. 17 The King loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.

Prayer Point

• Holy Spirit, please help me fulfil every criteria in the Word of God that will launch me into the fullness of my destiny {divine life exchange; given wholly to Jesus; post Calvary de-cluttering of mind; follow Jesus via discipleship}.
• Holy Spirit, please dig deep into every corner of my heart and life until Christ is fully matured in me.
• Grant me grace to submit and continue in discipleship- Jesus as my permanent discipler and whomever human agent the LORD will send to mould my life into form.
• Let the blessings of discipleship become real to me.
• Show me my Mordecai that YOU have raised to mould my life into the full stature of Christ.
• Grant my Mordecai an enlarged heart that seeks to nurture into maturity, the life of JESUS inside me.
• Let the character and virtues of Jesus exude out of me in increasing measure and likewise flush out the relics and habits of the old nature. Continue Your work in me until all that is left is CHRIST.
• Narrow me down, strip me of all excesses and rid me of covetousness and greed. Help me be content and desire simplicity just like Jesus.
• When I have the opportunity to have whatever I want, please help me defer to the Holy Spirit and my disciplers. Please groom me not to think more highly of myself or consider that I know what is best for me.

Woman, Arise to Divine Proclamation and Mandate: Gleaning into Esther's Life

There is a divine proclamation and mandate that has gone ahead of every woman. 

1. The woman and her offspring (children, disciples and family) are never to be friends or alliances with the devil. We are never to agree and forever be enemies with the devil and all he represents. 
2. The woman and her seed are to crush the head of the serpent. 

The labour of God over our lives through the Holy Spirit and human agents (disciplers) is so

that Christ is formed in us who Himself is against the enemy and will forever uphold God's

word of prophesy.  

God wants to help us see and step into our duty and call in a definite way. He will be

highlighting to us examples of witnesses who fulfilled the Genesis 3:15 mandate, trusting

that from this gleanings, we will be injected with a vision, focus, scope, revelation, guidance;

and be challenged to arise.

Using Esther as our study, we will see:

1. Who was standing against God's counsel, representing the head of the serpent.
2. How the head of the serpent was crushed.
3. What the effect was on lives, and/or nations at large. 

Esther Chapter One

The banquets of the king

Vs. 1-4 Vashti's successor sought

Basic criteria is set to qualify one to be a potential queen

1. Beautiful
2. Young
3. Virgin
4. Able to endure 12 months of purification.
5. The ONE woman who most pleased the king will be made queen.

Esther fulfilled and exceeded the basic conditions that qualified her to be chosen (vs. 5, 7).  

She was a Jew, young, lovely, beautiful and a virgin.

Beauty (earthly meaning):

The quality of being physically attractive.

The qualities in a person that gives pleasure to the senses or the mind. 

PRAYER:

1. Help me understand that even in qualifying to step into God's purpose, I must meet the standards set by heaven. John 3:5-7; Titus 2:11; Luke 14:25-35. 
2. Jesus, succeed over my life so that my focus will be the inner beauty not just the external beauty.  Help me get to work so that Christ’s character and beauty is projected and displayed for all to see. 
3. 1 Peter 3:1-6 (AMP):
   Internal beauty = inward adorning and beauty of the person of Jesus.
   a. Purity (in heart, in thoughts, in speech, in conduct)
   b. Modesty, simplicity
   c. Reverence (respect, defer to him, honour, esteem, appreciate, adore, praise, deeply love,
   and enjoy your husband).
   d. Gentle and peaceful spirit.
4. Grant me grace to exude the beauty of Christ by turning away from dead works, and offering fruits of repentance and righteousness. 
5. Help me as a woman seek to pursue pleasing the Lord, not myself.
6. Let me be energetic in my life of salvation, being fervent and sensitive before God. Phil.2:12-13 (AMP). 
7. Open my eyes to see and understand that every time I dwindle between God and mammon, heaven sees me as an adulterous woman. Help my heart be single and devoted to Jesus.
8. Grant me great grace to endure my months/years of purification (de-cluttering, quarry/wilderness experiences, discipleship).
9. May I come forth as one that greatly pleases the King.

Revolt The Enemy Within!

Romans 7:14-25 (TLB)

14 The law is good, then, and the trouble is not there but with me because I am sold into slavery with sin as my owner.

15 I don’t understand myself at all, for I really want to do what is right, but I can’t. I do what I don’t want to—what I hate. 16 I know perfectly well that what I am doing is wrong, and my bad conscience proves that I agree with these laws I am breaking. 17 But I can’t help myself because I’m no longer doing it. It is sin inside me that is stronger than I am that makes me do these evil things.

18 I know I am rotten through and through so far as my old sinful nature is concerned. No matter which way I turn I can’t make myself do right. I want to but I can’t. 19 When I want to do good, I don’t; and when I try not to do wrong, I do it anyway. 20 Now if I am doing what I don’t want to, it is plain where the trouble is: sin still has me in its evil grasp.

21 It seems to be a fact of life that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. 22 I love to do God’s will so far as my new nature is concerned; 23-25 but there is something else deep within me, in my lower nature, that is at war with my mind and wins the fight and makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. In my mind I want to be God’s willing servant, but instead I find myself still enslaved to sin.

So you see how it is: my new life tells me to do right, but the old nature that is still inside me loves to sin. Oh, what a terrible predicament I’m in! Who will free me from my slavery to this deadly lower nature? Thank God! It has been done by Jesus Christ our Lord. He has set me free.

1. My doing good and my doing bad have nothing to do with me – the ability to both be good and be bad has no connection with my brain, or seen as my forte. This ability is not my area of specialisation in any sense.
2. There are two forces constantly contending over my life – BUT one is far more SUPERIOR than the other. What I need to do is to identify the place of the SUPERIOR FORCE and give it full expression in every area of my life.
3. The Controller of the Superior Force (God) needs a platform in my life to aid and guide its full expression – Jesus is this PLATFORM! He is always ready to revolt the residue of the strength of defilement in my life.
4. The “enemy within” constantly leaves my life open to spiritual setbacks, weakens my spiritual defences, triggers character flaws and helps the devil to fulfil his mandate to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). These are all designed to truncate my divine purpose BUT THANK GOD FOR THE VICTORY THROUGH THE CROSS.

 PRAYER:

• Thank God for what He has done through the CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST. Thank Him for the victory He has given us over the conflicts between our flesh and His Spirit. Thank Him for the great impact of the CROSS on our lives.

• Lord, please repair all alterations that are not in line with Your will for my life. Deal with anything that seeks to frustrate my intentions to serve You faithfully – do something to all “the goliaths within” that are suppressing my defeat over the works of the flesh. Quicken the SURE VICTORY OF GRACE in my life to conquer these goliaths permanently.

• Lord, affect the seat of my soul in a unique way and destroy anything that is clogging my upward level in Christ. Crush my appetite to any form of defilement. Deliver me from my refined way of patting sin on the back and giving place to the devil.

• Lord, deal with all the instruments of imperfection in me. Help me not to spare my spiritual weaknesses. By Your Grace I disown every weak area in my relationship with You that I have claimed and carried this far – let there be no ground for me to claim them anymore.

• Lord, de-house the lower nature in me; do not allow it to find habitation in my life anymore. Lord, I desire a definite shaking from heaven to inactivate the source of dead works in every area. Deliver me from the grip/hold of sin; destroy the platform of the fulfilment of devil's mandate in my life.

• Lord, please open my eyes and life to what makes someone to be convinced by Your Word, but not changed by it – consume me with the FAITH and the LIFE that are wrapped in Your Word. Help me to believe and accept Your Word as it concerns my life, everything and everyone connected to me.

• Lord, fuel my life constantly with the Grace to have an unhindered relationship with You. TAKE ME TO THAT PLACE WHERE MY INSIDE AND OUTSIDE BECOME THE EXPRESSION OF YOUR HEART!

Daughters of Zelophehad

Numbers 27: 1-11

Convinced, Courageous and Audacious Daughters of Zelophehad...

Whose Daughter Are You?

1.    Zelophehad had a traceable lineage. Our destiny and quest to make a difference to the nations will only be a mirage if our genealogy cannot be traced to Christ.

• Holy Spirit, please bear witness in my heart that I am a daughter of God. 

2.    We seldom see in scriptures where a chapter of a book starts with the story of daughters, singles or women. These five daughters were pregnant with a burden that grew into a vision and they were injected with a scope. They became embolden with that vision so much so that their conviction made them restless.

What am I pregnant with?

What cause am I sold out to?

What was the burden that made these single ladies restless and ‘defiant’?

The quest of the daughters of Zelophehad was to preserve and ensure continuity of their Father’s name - a name that was not capable of saving any man from sin; self; Satan or the world system.

• Holy Spirit, please reveal to me the content and nature of what I am pregnant with. Inject into my heart a vision and a scope that has eternal significance.
• Let the sum total of my life be Christ and HIM crucified.
• Make my life an embodiment and a tangible interpretation of the scripture- “Not I but Christ”. 

3.    They were bent on giving expression to their conviction so much so that they defied the law, the tradition and the social norm by going into the Tent Meeting and stood before Moses, Eleazar the priest, the leaders and all The Israelites.

What is my conviction?

Have I given expression to that conviction?

Has it or does it cost me something?

• Lord, please grow your conviction in my heart. Do not allow me to bottle the very life of Christ in my heart but rather let it find freedom of expression.
• Grant me courage to be willing to count the cost in order for Christ to be made manifest.

4.     The five daughters had knowledge of events that took place when the children of Israel journeyed through the wilderness. They agreed that disobedience and joining alliance against God entitles one to no inheritance here on earth or even in heaven. They challenged status quo because continuity of a family name was carried on by sons not daughters.

• Deepen my understanding of who You are LORD. 
• Let the Word of God be my final authority so that I never join alliance against Christ or HIS Word. 
• Grant me grace to challenge error, wrong interpretation of the Word and the oracles of God, unrighteous acts and misinterpretation of who CHRIST is. 

5.  These women expressed their conviction to all of Israel - to anyone who would listen. They were not content to quietly murmur or simply pray in their closest. They challenged status quo. They made a demand that was unprecedented. They were clear about what they wanted and highlighted the disparity in gender that denied them of having any inheritance.

Where are my women of courage?

Where are my audacious daughters?

Are we suppressed with cowardice and fear of men?

Their Cry

Our Father died of natural death {Our own old nature died with Christ on Calvary}

Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? {Why should Jesus who is our life be done away with and not have continuity because there are no sons (Christ ambassadors)}.

Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father. {Give us therefore a possession, a vision, make us part labourers; give us our lot and quota as it were of ensuring continuity of our FATHER’s name.

• Lord, make this my personal and life cry.
• Let every travail, labour, investment of my life work together to ensure continuity of the life of Jesus.

Results

Moses had to bring their cause before the Lord.

History, laws and tradition were revisited and updated on account of these ladies’ burden. A flaw was highlighted by these five daughters and God corrected it.

This act of courage by five daughters changed the laws and traditions of acquisition of inheritance and set a new tone for possibilities when women take their place in destiny.

Can I find daughters who are passionate for the cause of Christ?

Daughters who will lay their agenda down to see Jesus’ agenda be made manifest throughout the globe?

Where are my audacious daughters?

It is one thing to abide in the faith of the Gospel, but it is more glorious to abound in the work of the Gospel. In 'abiding' we dwell on the Gospel, but in 'abounding' we flourish in all matters of the Gospel.

                'Abide' – dwell, conform, accept and acknowledge. 

               'Abound' – flourish, thrive, overflow and packed.  

Any knowledge we have about God that does not affect our environment is considered dead. We need to be thick on the ground of faith so as to walk and talk aright.

PRAYER:

• Lord, please, solidify my platform of faith in You. Help me to operate fully in the assurance of my faith and hope in You.
• Make me strong and thick on the grounds of my belief in You. Let nothing shift my focus, help my heart to stay on You.
• Help me to live above a condemned life and all channels of condemnation by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:1).
• Open my life to a convincing and lasting knowledge of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Help me to have a lasting encounter that will be evident in my daily walk with You.

“When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table.  A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.”

Vs. 36-37

An uninvited guest; a woman; an especially wicked sinner (AMPC); researched Jesus’ whereabouts and courageously made her way to a Pharisee’s house to see and anoint Jesus.

• Lord, my challenges and background must not deter me from seeking CHRIST. Grant me grace to prevail in beautifying my MASTER.
• Grant my heart help in discerning the seasons and times so that I can step into the will of God for my life and redeem the time.
• Help me find Christ and come to HIM with my very best (life, heart, the best of my strength, time) not my leftovers.
• JESUS has come to my coast; help me know this and maximise the opportunity.

Vs. 38

She utilised all she was endowed with to worship JESUS – she stood behind Jesus; positioned herself at His feet; wet His feet with her tears; wipe His feet with her hair, kissed His feet with her mouth and poured her prized possession on His feet.

• LORD, teach me to use all that You have endowed me with to worship YOU.
• Cause my life and actions to show gratitude, devotion, reverence and care for my LORD JESUS.
• Let the scent of my life attract others to JESUS. 

Take My Life

Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King.
Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect, and use every power as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will, and make it Thine; it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart, it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne.

Lois And Eunice – Godly Women To Emulate

2^nd Timothy 1: 1 – 11 

Lois and Eunice embarked on shared-mentorship in raising Timothy and these women did a remarkable work in the life of Timothy. Paul testified of their immense contributions to what made Timothy the man that he was - 2^nd Timothy 1:5 and 3:14-15.They both passed on the “mantle of faith” that Timothy embraced all through his kingdom labour with Paul.

Lois and Eunice:

• Lois was the grandmother of Timothy while Eunice was the mother of Timothy.
• Their background emerged during Paul's second missionary journey in Acts 16:1-6.
• They both lived under the difficult circumstances of the irregular Jewish religion.
• They both maintained and passed on their faith/values despite their irreligious culture.
• They both worked tirelessly, following the meanings of their names and achieved a purpose. *Lois means 'Agreeable/Desirable' /  Eunice means 'Good-victor'*
• They were both believers based on the promise of Christ – The Messiah. 

*Eunice (Jewish woman) married a man from Greece – a man who had a background of idol-worship of Greek gods and goddesses. She stayed faithful to her marriage at Lystra and drew from her own mother's teachings in raising up a companion and co-worker for Paul, the Apostle. 

              Timothy – The result of the travailing labour of Lois and Eunice:

• Following the meaning of his name, he was victorious over the immoral environment.
• *Timothy means - “one who fears God”. 
• He was matured in faith and had a firm grasp of the scriptures based on the strong religious influence from both his mother – Eunice and his grandmother – Lois. 2^nd Timothy 3:15. 
• He exhibited the fruits of positive Christian training as testified of him by others within the same environment – Acts 16:1-2. 
• He lived and worked by an earnest faith in Christ. 2^nd Timothy 1:13-14.

Prayer:

• Lord, please, fill my life with Godly attributes that will flow effortlessly and without limitation to my children; to those around me and to everyone that is connected to me. 
• Lord, please, raise helpers for me in my walk with You. Grant me spiritual destiny helpers that are after Your heart; those that will stand as my support system in living out the truth. 
• Lord, please, help me to live for You and Your kingdom wherever I find myself. Make my life worthy of emulation in my daily walk with You. Let my labour be evident in You. 
• Lord, please, command deliverances for me in all the areas that are beclouding my vision for Your kingdom. Deliver me from all deformities in my relationship with You. 
• Lord, please, grant me an undeniable access to Your presence at all times. Release the grace that I constantly need to maintain my faith and my heavenly values in You.
